Terms of Service
Last updated: March 29, 2026
1. Agreement to Terms
By accessing or using the VAGAChain website, protocol, or related services (collectively, the "Services"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you disagree with any part of the terms, you may not access the Services.
2. Protocol Status and Disclaimer
VAGAChain is a blockchain protocol and open-source software stack. Node software, runtime modules, and SDKs are provided "AS IS", without warranty of any kind, express or implied. You are responsible for operational risk, including upgrades, forks, and third-party integrations.
Features, APIs, and economic parameters described in our documentation or whitepaper may evolve, change, or be removed as the architecture matures.
3. Assumption of Risk
By interacting with the VAGAChain protocol, you acknowledge and agree that:
- Blockchain technologies and cryptographic systems carry inherent risks, including but not limited to bugs, vulnerabilities, and regulatory uncertainty.
- You are solely responsible for the security of your private keys and credentials.
- Any assets, tokens (including testnet VAGA or VGB), or data deployed to the network may be lost or become inaccessible.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Services to:
- Violate any applicable national or international law or regulation.
- Deploy malicious code, malware, or engage in activities that disrupt the network.
- Attempt to bypass or exploit the protocol's security mechanisms, including but not limited to the Federated Identity Module, SLA Escrow, or Bridge Architecture.
5. Liability and Accountability
In the VAGAChain ecosystem, identity controllers (humans or institutions) remain legally and economically accountable for the actions of the autonomous agents they deploy or delegate permissions to. The protocol provides mechanisms for explicit delegation and policy constraints, but it does not absolve the controller of responsibility for the agent's behavior.
6. Intellectual Property
The VAGAChain protocol is open-source software. Please refer to the specific open-source licenses (e.g., MIT, Apache 2.0) included in our GitHub repositories for terms regarding the use, modification, and distribution of the code.
7. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of significant changes by updating the date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the Services following any changes constitutes acceptance of those changes.
